Hi! I am Bindu – Wildlife Artist
“To me, painting is a lovely journey that I undertake. I am not afraid to be carried away by the flow of emotions. When I am in this space I forget the world, the sorrows, and the pains. It is the dance that I dance with the music playing only in my head”.
“I am inspired by nature and culture around me. Being from India, a lot of vibrant colours and patterns find their way into my paintings.”
“Every now and then one paints a picture that seems to have opened a door and serves as a stepping stone to other things.” ―
Bindu ventured into the world of art quite by accident about a decade ago. Her passion for colors and patterns drew her to abstracts in the beginning, later experimenting with various styles and brushstrokes. For four years now she has shifted towards wildlife paintings trying to bring beautiful animals to life through her artwork. She particularly likes to paint the endangered species hoping to evoke an emotion and encouraging the viewer to contemplate about the urgent need to preserve and safeguard them.
Bindu has participated in various local and international art exhibitions. Her preferred medium of expression is acrylics. The artist currently lives and works in Doha, Qatar.
